Marat Omarov, born on June 12, 1983, in Kostanay, Kazakhstan, is the visionary founder of The ARK, a cutting-edge contemporary regenerative village located in the vibrant surroundings of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica.

His leadership during Expo 2017 earned him the distinguished ‘Outstanding Labor’ medal from the President of Kazakhstan. Orchestrating more than 3,000 events in just 3 months with as little as one year of preparation, Marat showcased his ability to lead complex projects and bring visionary ideas to life, achieving what many thought was impossible.
